Eco Remaps Bristol

Disclaimer & Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before proceeding with any service.

By proceeding with the remapping/tuning services provided by Eco Remaps Bristol, you agree to the following terms:

1. Legality and Road Use

While ECU remapping is not inherently illegal in the UK, it is the client's responsibility to ensure their vehicle complies with all Road Vehicles (Construction and Use) Regulations 1986 and emissions standards (MOT rules). Any tampering with emissions control systems (such as DPF, EGR or AdBlue) is strictly for off-road use only. Using a vehicle modified in this way on public roads is illegal and can lead to prosecution.

2. Insurance and Warranty

Insurance: A remap is a material modification. You must inform your insurance provider. Eco Remaps Bristol accepts no liability for invalidated insurance policies. Warranty: Remapping may void your manufacturer's warranty. It is your responsibility to check with the manufacturer.

3. Vehicle Condition and Liability

Eco Remaps Bristol assumes your vehicle is in good mechanical condition, fully serviced, and free of fault codes before work begins. We are not liable for any mechanical or electrical failures (including, but not limited to, clutches, turbos, or engines) that may occur before, during, or after the remapping process. Increased performance may accelerate wear and tear on components.

4. Performance Figures

All performance gains (BHP/Torque) are approximate and for guidance only. Results vary based on vehicle age, mileage, and maintenance.

5. Acceptance of Risk

You understand that remapping is a modification and you accept all associated risks, including potential failure of components and increased fuel consumption.
